Over the next year I am looking to fill the roles to complete and grow the corporation “The Brooklyn Hall of Fame”, there is a lot going on here, it took a few years to put all this together and I can’t run this all by myself, I know there are a lot of facebook sites etc, doing their own thing , I have no intention to try and be your competition..I actually need you to pull this off, there are a few dozen people on these sites that I know love Brooklyn as much as I do, the beginning will be slow running, trial and error with people joining and giving up. Right now I am getting a head count on who is interested in any of these roles or has something else to offer -The Brooklyn Hall of Fame. but the most important role is the Volunteer Advisory Board.
The **Brooklyn Hall of Fame** is actively seeking passionate, knowledgeable individuals to join our **Advisory Board** as we expand our mission to celebrate and preserve the extraordinary legacy of Brooklyn—from its iconic landmarks and sports heroes to its cultural innovators, neighborhoods, and untold stories.
We invite community leaders, historians, educators, cultural advocates, business professionals, artists, and lifelong Brooklyn enthusiasts (or those deeply connected to the borough) to apply. Advisory Board members will play a key role in guiding our content strategy, ensuring diverse and authentic representation, shaping upcoming initiatives like physical exhibits at our planned Industry City headquarters, and helping amplify Brooklyn’s unbreakable spirit through events, trivia experiences, digital archives, and community outreach.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in one or more areas such as Brooklyn history, local arts and culture, sports, education, nonprofit governance, digital media, fundraising, or community engagement, along with a genuine commitment to equity, inclusion, and storytelling that honors the borough’s full diversity. This is a volunteer advisory position with flexible time commitments, including quarterly virtual meetings, occasional input on projects, and the opportunity to contribute to a growing Brooklyn institution.

· Vice-President(s) (one or more): Assists the president and may assume quiet a few of their duties in their absence; specific responsibilities will vary. fill in for day to day operations, this is not rocket science if we work together and this seems like a goal you can achieve, because you love Brooklyn so much and have your own ideas and can forward the org. Ideally this person will live in Brooklyn and be the actual face attending meetings, Chamber of commerce events, etc- and speak on behalf of BHOF.
· Secretary: Front desk- Maintain office and greet. this will be a multi front for the Brooklyn Hall of Fame and Brooklyn Brand Apparel as well as Books from my collection and others Office/ Store front for pickups and well as small manufacturing of certain Brooklyn Brand items..Future
· Treasurer: Manages finances, including accounting, budgeting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Future
. Media Influencer: freelance to come up with(work with me) to create Brooklyn leaning episodes. this GIG is open now and ongoing I have so much content I can’t keep up with myself….
. Website maintenance main website, including youtube, tik tok, facebook, instagram and others, updating with new content I create or others, on weekly basis, This gig is ongoing ..open now
. SEO master to work with me to develop a multifaceted plan to move what i already have created …This gig is ongoing ..open now
. Content Creators: having many projects In the work already I will need various people to work on a paid assignments(freelance for now ) which will be used on the web but also on our new Roku and Firestick station. This gig is ongoing ..open now
. Grant Writers: I have most of them already written out for different types of grantsI just need someone to package them and tell me what missing , because each grant requires different wording..This gig is ongoing ..open now
. Event Manager: Help plan and organize events with me.. this is a Future gig.but only a year away i have lots of plans and events i want to do in industry city 2027.. leave details below .

Facebook /social media … I need site moderators to post and approve post .. there will be no other post except for Brooklyn post .. no current events in Brooklyn either, this is not that kind of site . if you are moderator you can also promote your (Brooklyn)book or Brooklyn items, and cross post pictures from other sites, I don’t mind ,there are over 100 Facebook sites that I am promoting also with a page of links on the official BHOF site

I have lots of ideas and I don’t mind working with newbie’s as long as you can produce what I am looking for without changing the direction of the goal (Brooklyn), there will be no political leaning, woke agendas in any project! this is about Brooklyn, not about you, you can have any opinions you want just don’t bring it into the projects.
