Wanted Video Editor

We are creating a learning program where the lessons are based on mini documentaries of people and Things that were made in Brooklyn. I am looking for a video editor to help me bring these stories to life.

These Videos will be streamed on our Streaming Platform on Firestick and Roku as well as this site

Responsibilities:

• Edit footage into a cohesive and engaging narrative
• Work closely with the director and producer to bring their vision to life
• Add music, sound effects, and graphics as needed
• Ensure all footage is color corrected and audio levels are balanced
• Meet project deadlines and make revisions based on feedback

Requirements:

• Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
• Strong storytelling skills
• Excellent understanding of pacing and timing
• Knowledge of color correction and audio mixing
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

Some experience in documentary film making is preferred but not required. If interested, please include samples of your editing work or a demo reel. This is a freelance position with potential for ongoing work.
